Keys Man Killed In Confrontation Over Affair

MIAMI (CBSMiami) - A Little Torch Key man was shot to death after he reportedly tried to force his way into another man's home to confront him about having an affair with his wife.

Patrick Wunsch, 31, called the county sheriff's office around 11 p.m. Tuesday to report a burglary in progress at his home on Big Pine Key. Wunsch said a man had attempted to forcibly enter his house and he had shot him.

When deputies arrived they found Wunsch and the body of the man he shot, 29-year old Andrew Grzych, on the front porch.

The sheriff's office said Grzych believed Wunsch was having sexual relations with his wife and went to his house to confront him about the affair. That is when he was shot.

After the investigations, along with interviews with all parties involved and consultation with the State Attorney's Office, Wunsch was not arrested in connection with the shooting.
