CORAL GABLES (AP) — Jim Kelly was never revered at Sun Life Stadium.

He's a University of Miami legend, yes. But that was during his playing days with the Hurricanes, when they called the iconic and now-demolished Orange Bowl home. He was always a visitor at Sun Life, playing there when his Buffalo Bills would visit the Miami Dolphins.

It all changes Saturday.

Homecoming weekend for the Hurricanes is getting headlined by Kelly and championing his fight against cancer. The Hurricanes will honor their former quarterback and have embraced the "KellyTough" credo that caught on during his most recent health battle.

Kelly says he cannot wait to hear the reception that Miami fans have in store for him.
