Kelly: Ryan Tannehill 'Just Not Good Enough Yet'

"He had a 100 quarterback rating -- he did what he was asked to do," the Sun Sentinel's Omar Kelly said of Ryan Tannehill's performance yesterday on the Joe Rose Show. "Outside of execution in the red zone I didn't have a problem with his game. I think they're utilizing him to his strengths finally. It's only taken them 56 starts."

Kelly does want to see Tannehill improve on third downs and in the red zone.

"You just do not see the understanding of the game, the processing of the game. It's just not happening fast enough for him and we're talking about a quarterback who's 56 starts in. Don't make any more excuses for him... How many quarterbacks in the NFL get 56 NFL starts? Not many of them and he's not playing at a good enough level right now, consistently enough to lead you to wins, to rally your team from behind when you have a deficit. It's just not good enough yet."
