Josh Freeman Cut Day After Dolphins Final Preseason Game

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Josh Freeman's roller coaster of preseason ride has come to end.

According to BleacherReport.com, the backup quarterback was cut by the Dolphins on Friday – a day after the Fins final preseason game.

In that final preseason game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Freeman entered late in the third quarter.

He went 13 of 22 for 165 yards against his former team, and threw two interceptions to Keith Tandy in the final 2 minutes to end Miami's comeback bid.

Freeman had been cut by the Dolphin on July 24th, prior to the start of training camp. Just four days later, Miami resigned him.
