Jones Homers In Marlins' Win Over Astros

KISSIMMEE (AP) — Garrett Jones homered in the first inning and drove in three runs, leading the Miami Marlins to a 7-2 win over the Houston Astros on Friday.

It was the second home run of spring training for Jones, who also had an RBI during the Marlins' error-aided, three-run fifth.

Jake Marisnick went 3 for 3 and scored twice for Miami. Marisnick is batting .429 in 16 spring games.

Miami starter Nathan Eovaldi gave up two runs in 4 2-3 innings. He allowed six hits and walked two.

Scott Feldman, the Astros' opening-day starter for their April 1 game against the New York Yankees, gave up seven hits and four runs in five innings.
