Jim Turner on Ted Wells as Independent Investigator: 'A Bunch of Crap'
Jim Turner is unleashing fire at Ted Wells, the NFL's "Independent Investigator" for Bullygate and now Deflategate.
The former Dolphins offensive line coach joined 560 WQAM's Joe Rose Show to pummel the man responsible for putting him out of a job following Wells' report on the Richie Incognito-Jonathan Martin bullying scandal in Miami.
"That's a bunch of crap," Turner said of Ted Wells being an independent investigator. "What a bunch of crap. He's hired by the NFL and he's hired by the NFL to give them the outcome that they're looking for. I mean the smartest thing that Brady did was not trusting Wells. It amazes me as I listen to everybody that people are just going to give up your phone like that. We had people in World War I, II, Korea, Vietnam, that died for your right not to turn that phone over. That's your personal property unless the Patriots handed it to you, which they didn't. It's his personal property. You don't give that up. I didn't give mine up and I'm glad he didn't give his up.
"This is absolutely ridiculous. They're gonna do what they did to me to someone else."
