Jets' Bowles: Ndamukong Suh 'Still The Same, Dominant Guy'

Many think the Miami Dolphins' defensive front hasn't performed up to expectations through Week 3, sacking the quarterback just one time -- by rookie tackle Jordan Phillips in Week 1. But sacks don't tell the whole story and Miami has registered 31 hurries, with Pro Football Focus grading their pass rush as ninth best in the NFL.

Jets head coach Todd Bowles isn't buying the notion Ndamukong Suh and his unit are struggling.

The key to stopping Suh, Bowles tells the Daily News, is "him not playing."

"Looking at the film of him, he's still the same, dominant guy he was in Detroit... He can be very disruptive."

Making matters challenging this week for the Jets is Brian Winters starting at right guard for the injured Willie Colon.

"The sacks will come and they come in bunches," Bowles said, "and I have no doubt in my mind that they'll get theirs — I just hope it's not this week."
