Jeb Bush Visits Miami-Dade County Charter School
HIALEAH (CBSMiami) -- Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush toured a charter high school in Hialeah on Wednesday in honor of National School Choice Week.
Bush visited the Latin Builders Association Construction & Business Management Academy in order to also shine a positive spotlight on the need for high quality education options for all children.
The school was founded by the Latin Builders Association back in 2012, making it the first time a business association opened a business charter high school in the United States.
Bush was also joined by Carlos Curbelo of the Miami-Dade County School Board, Rep.Michael Bileca, Rep. Jose Felix Diaz and Rep. Manny Diaz, Jr.
National School Choice Week starts on January 26 and runs through February 1.
