Is Katy Perry Really JonBenet Ramsey?

MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- A conspiracy theory has resurfaced surrounding the unsolved murder of  young beauty pageant princess JonBenet Ramsey.

In a resurfaced YouTube video from December 2014, a man named Dave Johnson claims that Ramsey is not dead but is really pop princess Katy Perry.

Ramsey was murdered in 1996.

Johnson, who does not show his face in the video, claims the family kept this secret so that Perry could rise to fame and become a super star.

JonBenet's murder remains unsolved.
