Injured Man Pulled Off Ship Using Rescue Ladder At Port Miami

MIAMI (CBSMiami) --  Rescue crews hauled a man who appeared to be injured off a boat using a fire truck ladder on Thursday afternoon.

It all happened at Port Miami just after 1:00 p.m.

Rescue crews used their fire truck ladder to move a man from a boat to the docks to be treated. (Source: CBS4)

Chopper4 was over the scene as crews on board worked to get the man off the ship and taken for treatment.

He was seen strapped to a rescue basket, wearing a neck brace.

Rescue crews could be seen attaching the man to a rescue ladder that slowly moved him over the water to land where rescue crews were waiting to take him for treatment.

The man was placed on a gurney and rushed off. His condition is unknown at this time. It is unclear what caused his injuries.
