While he grew over the past year, he is still considered a top safety talent, although he will have the opportunity to play the linebacker position – if his growth dictates it. This is someone that opposing coaches talked about as an impact player. He has proven to be a versatile football player that makes plays all over the field. This offseason will certainly be very important as college coaches swill continue to watch and evaluate. Smith is definitely a football player that needs to be watched - he can play this game at the next level.
