A year in which he sparked this program with an amazing year, and a future that teammates, coaches and opposing players began to respect. Last year saw this talented young man suffer a knee injury - and while some of that attention seemed to fade - his return this year has once again uncovered a running back who has worked hard to put himself in the spotlight. Johnson is a different runner than he was as a freshman, and as college coaches will have a chance to watch him, that is a good thing. He still runs hard and is trying to get that top end speed back, but with over a year left in his high school career, you can guarantee that if he stays healthy, he will be right back in that recruiting mix.
