SCOUTING: After a stellar sophomore year (2014) in which he helped to lead the Rockets to another state title, 2015 year was tough for this quality football talent when he sat out the year with a shoulder injury. While rehabbing, he gained weight and many who were recruiting this gifted young man, played the "wait and see" game. But, if you know this athlete, there was never any question about him returning healthy. Nobody worked harder to get back on the field than Steed did. Taking his weight down nearly 30 pounds, his dedication to the game shined through as he was one of the best players during the spring and at everything he has attended since getting healthy. Steed is still considered one of the best around. He's an instinctive football player who proved that he still has that play-making gene and showed the college coaches who watched the four-time defending state champions perform during May. Steed will once again be that catalyst this team needs.
