SCOUTING: After playing a limited role at Miami Carol City last year, this is a prospect that makes the move to Broward this year to play for a revamped program at Hallandale. Thornton is a tremendous fit with the Chargers, as he is a player who has the chance to be special. He's a quality receiver who has played running back in the past, and his pass catching skills and running ability should definitely open some doors. While spring will be huge for him to show the new coaching staff what he can do, the summer and remainder of the offseason will give this young man some much-needed exposure. Many are anxious to watch him get in the mix for the Chargers in 2016.
