MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- Furniture store Ikea issued an urgent warning over a set of drawers that has crushed children to death.

Ikea is warning customers about their Malm drawer sets which have toppled on children and killed three of them, according to the Daily Mail.

The company was forced to issue a warning about the free-standing drawer sets available across the world.

Back in 2014, two children were killed in separate incidents. In February, 22-month old Ted McGee was killed when a six-drawer unit fell on top of him eventually prompting the company to issue the warning.

The U.S. Product Safety Commission is reviewing the case, calling it a "tragic tip-over fatality."

The company has since launched a safety campaign that provides free wall-anchoring set for customers to avoid anymore accidents.

The warnings affect 27 million pieces.
