Identity Of Burned Woman Released By Police

NORTHWEST MIAMI-DADE (CBSMiami) – Police are investigating the death of a woman after she was found burned and unresponsive Wednesday morning.

Friday, Miami-Dade police released the woman's identity as Yolanda Samaniego, 51.

The woman's cause of death has not been determined pending a medical examiner's report.

Officials said they were called to a brush fire just after 7 a.m. at NW 64 Street and NW 82 Avenue and discovered Samaniego.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.
