MIAMI (CBSMiami/NSF)  -- It will be a waiting game Friday in the Florida House.

A calendar published Wednesday indicates the House will go into session at 6 p.m. Friday.

The move stems from a legal requirement that prevents lawmakers from voting on a new state budget until after 5:37 p.m. Friday.

The new budget was sent to lawmakers at 5:37 p.m. Tuesday, triggering the start of a 72-hour review period.

The House, however, will go into session at 10 a.m. Thursday and can discuss the budget at that time.

The Senate is scheduled to go into session at 9 a.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. Friday.

Lawmakers started a special session June 1st to pass a budget, and leaders finished

negotiations on the nearly $78.7 billion spending plan late Monday night.
