Horse Found Abandoned, Emaciated In NW Miami-Dade

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Authorities found an abandoned horse in pretty bad condition in NW Miami-Dade Friday afternoon.

Chopper4 was over the field around 5 p.m. where the emaciated horse was found. It could be seen around the plants, seemingly trying to eat.

The South Florida SPCA Horse Rescue Organization said it's the third abandoned horse rescued since Tuesday.

Authorities also found a dead horse.

Miami-Dade Police is investigating the incident.
