MIAMI GARDENS (CBSMiami/AP) -- Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson is set to give a commencement speech at Florida Memorial University.

The graduation ceremony begins Saturday morning at the school's Miami Gardens campus.

This week, Johnson told members of the Senate Judiciary Committee that he has directed immigration authorities to focus on finding and deporting criminals and people who have recently crossed the Mexican border.

Roughly 11 million immigrants are thought to be living in the country illegally. With 127,000 removals though the first six months of the government's fiscal year that started in October, the government is on track to remove the fewest immigrants since the middle of former President George W. Bush's second term in 2006.

Johnson also is scheduled to give commencement addresses at the University of the District of Columbia and Occidental College.
