Hollywood Police Arrest Man For Attempted Kidnapping Of Teen
HOLLYWOOD (CBSMiami) – Hollywood police arrested a man, Friday, and charged him with attempting to kidnap a teenage girl.
The 13-year-old was walking along North 34th Avenue Thursday evening just before 9 p.m. when police said Martin Owens, 76, approached her inside his vehicle from behind.
According to officers, Owens attempted to force the girl into a van, but she was able to get away from him and run for help.
Owens is a registered sexual predator.
