Hollywood Man Charged In Random Shooting Rampage

HOLLYWOOD (CBSMiami) -- A man accused of shooting randomly at vehicles driving along a Hollywood street is facing multiple felony charges.

Carl Deshon Washington, 40, was arrested after barricading himself inside a home at 6336 Garfield Street Saturday morning, according to Hollywood Police.

They said he pulled out a gun while in the area of 64th Avenue and Garfield Street and began firing on vehicles at random.

Two vehicles were struck by bullets, causing one to crash. That driver was hospitalized in serious condition.

No one else was hurt.

Washington faces five counts of premeditated murder.
