HOLIDAY (CBSMiami/AP) – Engineers aren't confirming it's a sinkhole, but a 10-foot wide by 10-foot deep hole forced six Tampa Bay-area families from their homes.

Pasco County officials said the hole that developed Monday in Holiday swallowed a car sitting on a driveway.

Officials said the mobile home where the hole developed and five others nearby were evacuated as a safety precaution. No one was injured.

Building inspectors have condemned the mobile home on the brink of the hole.

County spokesman Doug Tobin said the property owner will be responsible for doing a geological survey and fixing the hole.

The county is working on a sewer lift station nearby but Tobin said it doesn't appear that the work caused the hole.
