High School Sophomore With Cerebral Palsy Goes To Prom

MIAMI (CBSMiami) - Prom is an event many teens look forward to with excitement. For John John, a sophomore with cerebral palsy, the chance to go to prom came early thanks to a good friend.

John John's father, when his son was born, was told that his son "would never walk," according to the story of John John's Prom shared by the Naples Daily News.

Years later, John John not only walks, but loves to hit the dance floor when he hears country music.

It was his love for music, and the bond it formed with a senior cheerleader, that paved way for John John's invite to the senior prom.
