Hialeah votes to crack down on ownership of RVs, boats on residential properties

MIAMI - On Wednesday, Hialeah Mayor Esteban Bovo Jr. and the city council will hold a press conference to discuss the ordinance that regulates the placement and limits the number of RVs and boats on residential properties.

Hialeah has voted in favor of amending the existing RV ordinance.

RVs and boats will no longer be allowed to be parked in people's backyards. 

It will also be prohibited to have more than one boat or RV per household.

Violators face a $500 fine per day.

The ordinance will come into effect as soon as the mayor signs it. 

The press conference will take place at 11:30 a.m.
