Heat's Justise Winslow Named To NBA All-Rookie Second Team

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – The Miami Heat season has been over for less than a week but that doesn't mean the accolades can't continue to roll in.

The NBA announced on Thursday that Heat rookie Justise Winslow has been named to the NBA All-Rookie Second Team.

Winslow is the eleventh Heat player to be named to an All-Rookie Team.

He appeared in a team-leading 78 games this season, making him just the fifth Heat rookie to lead the team in games played.

Winslow averaged 6.4 points on 42.2 percent shooting, 5.2 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 28.6 minutes per game.

Among other NBA rookies, Winslow finished fourth in minutes, sixth in steals, ninth in rebound, thirteenth in scoring and tied for fourteenth in assists.

He also became just the sixth Heat rookie to start a postseason game after starting in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals against the Toronto Raptors.
