Heat Re-Sign Liggins To 2nd 10-day Contract

MIAMI (AP) — The Miami Heat say they have signed guard DeAndre Liggins to a second 10-day contract.

Liggins was signed originally Feb. 25 after being called up from Sioux Falls, Miami's affiliate in the NBA Development League. Liggins has appeared in one game with the Heat, scoring two points and grabbing a rebound in Miami's 124-107 win over Charlotte on Monday.

Liggins was a D-League All-Star this season, appearing in 35 games with Sioux Falls and averaging 14.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 2.5 steals for the Skyforce.

Miami's roster remains at 15 players with the Liggins move Saturday.
