MIAMI (CBSMiami) --  A precautionary advisory to limit contact with water in Biscayne Bay was lifted over the weekend for certain areas.

The advisory was lifted Saturday after health officials tested water that fit within standards for two consecutive days.

The areas where the advisory has been lifted include those between Venetian Causeway and the Miami Beach Marina, including Star Island, Monument Island and a portion of Belle Isle.

On Friday, the advisory had been expanded to Sunset Island 4 and Belle Isle.

The advisory was issued last week when a waste water line, from Star Island to West Avenue, broke due to a marina construction.  The line was restored and made fully functional last Thursday.
