MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- A new study finds even moderate alcohol consumption may increase your risk of certain cancers.

The study was recently published in the Journal of Clinical Oncology.

It finds that approximately 3.5 percent of all cancer deaths in the U.S. can be attributed to alcohol consumption.

Experts also found that drinking alcohol can have an adverse effect on treatment and outcomes for patients with cancer.
