Hassan Whiteside Pleased With Elevated NBA2K16 Rating

Hassan Whiteside finally got his 2k rating up.

Just as Whiteside will earn a massive raise next summer when he'll become an unrestricted free agent, the Miami Heat center has received a sizeable boost with the release of his NBA2K16 rating.

After averaging 11.8 points, 10.0 rebounds, and 2.6 blocks in just 23.8 minutes last season, the folks at 2K Sports have rewarded the big fella by rating him an 81 overall after he started last season in the 50s.

Only 50 players in the league have a rating above 80.

If you remember last January, at the onset of Hassanity, he doled out a gem quote after registering a triple-double against the Bulls, saying "I just want to get my 2k rating up."

Props to Hassan. He earned it.
