Haslem On Heat Roster: "I'm Going To Make Sure I Lead All These Guys"
Miami Heat power forward, Udonis Haslem joined the Joe Rose Show on 560 WQAM to preview the challenges ahead for this Heat roster as the new season begins. He also discusses head coach Erik Spoelstra and the team's season opening matchup against the Orlando Magic.
On the Heat's roster- "I mean we have a lot of talent, a lot of young talent. We have a lot of hungry guys who are very motivated to prove that they can play and be a part of a team."
On the chemistry of the team- "I think in the preseason we really grew closer together, we really saw other guys enjoying other people success. This is a hard working team."
On being the veteran- "I'm going to make sure I lead all these guys."
On Hassan Whiteside– "He's gotten a lot better and understands what's expected of him."
