Haren Gives Up 3 Runs, Marlins Lose To Double-A Affiliate

JACKSONVILLE (AP) — Marlins starter Dan Haren gave up three runs on three hits in two innings and Miami lost its final spring training game Saturday, 14-8 to Double-A affiliate Jacksonville.

Haren, set to be the Marlins' No. 4 starter, allowed a two-run homer to Ryan Rieger and two doubles in the second inning.

Haren was lifted in the third inning for reliever Trevor Williams, who is slated to start the season with the Suns.

Giancarlo Stanton hit an RBI double and scored a run in the first for Miami. He walked in the third and was replaced.

Martin Prado and Dee Gordon each had a pair of singles in their two at-bats and Mike Morse hit a two-run single.
