Gunshot Victim Found Laying On Sidewalk Survives

MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- A man who was found laying on the ground suffering from numerous gunshot wounds has pulled through, according to officials.
Miami Police said he's listed in stable condition following emergency surgery at Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center.
Officers responded to the scene early Saturday morning at 985 S.W. 5th Street after a 911 caller spotted the man on the ground.
According to detectives, the victim was involved in a confrontation at 1012 S.W. 4th Street that ended in gunfire.
They believe the victim was able to run away before collapsing in front of a home on S.W. 5th Street.
Miami Police are in search of the shooters.
