MIAMI (CBSMiami/AP) - Governor Rick Scott will kick of his "Keep Florida Working" tax cut victory tour in South Florida.

Scott is scheduled to start the tour at D3 Glass in Ft. Myers followed by a stop at Sergio's restaurant in Doral. The governor then plans to make similar stops in five more cities including West Palm Beach, Orlando and Jacksonville.

Scott says the tour celebrates the more than $400-million in tax cuts he signed into law following the recent special session.

The tax cuts include a slight cut in taxes charged on cellphones and cable television bills. It also includes a 10-day back to school tax holiday.

The governor originally asked for nearly $700 million in tax cuts. But lawmakers scaled back the size of the tax cuts and used the money to shore up other parts of the state's nearly $79 billion budget.
