Video shows moments before firefighters put out flames that ripped through Miami-Dade RV and shed

An arson investigation is underway after a fire ripped through an RV and shed in a Miami-Dade neighborhood early Thursday morning.

Just after 3:20 a.m., Miami-Dade Fire Rescue was called to the fire near 11000 SW 220th St. in Goulds. The Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office also responded to the scene to assist.

MDFR told CBS News Miami that at least one person was treated for smoke inhalation, but everyone who lived in the home nearby was safely evacuated.

Arson detectives later responded to the scene and took over the investigation, and MDSO said one woman was detained for questioning and taken to a local hospital for treatment. It is unclear at this time whether she was the person would was treated for smoke inhalation.

Video captures the moments before firefighters and deputies arrived

Surveillance video obtained by CBS News Miami captured the flames spewing out of the RV and shed before officials arrived.

In the video, a woman is seen running up and down the street, asking for help, before an ambulance and deputies arrived and began walking around to the neighboring house's backyard, where the flames were well above the power line. At this moment, firefighters arrived to attack the fire.

CBS News Miami's crew was at the scene, where a transformer box was seen above where the fire burned, which is believed to have led to the power outage, but CBS News Miami has reached out to officials to confirm exact details. FPL and Xfinity vehicles were also seen in the area, working on restoring power to the neighborhood. Video from another neighbor showed the moment when he believed there was an explosion.

"I'm sleeping and I heard like a loud, something, noise," said Tyshara Harold. "So, I'm thinking like someone's trying to break into our house."

Harold told CBS News Miami that she rushed her children away from the back of their home, which was close to the burning RV. She also shared a video with CBs News Miami, which showed a power line on fire.

"I was shocked," she said. "It was crazy because it just happened so fast, like, we're all just asleep, and then you just hear, like, this loud noise."
