GOP Fla. House Candidate Calls For Obama To Be Hanged
TAMPA (CBSMiami) – A Republican candidate for the Florida House of Representatives said Monday that President Barack Obama should be arrested and hanged.
Joshua Black, candidate for House District 68, made the comment in a Tweet Monday saying he was "past impeachment" and that "It's time to arrest and hang him high."
"@civilwarcometh: @BrandonMArms @RedNationRising I'm past impeachment. It's time to arrest and hang him high. http://t.co/Li1e0fzCLi" Agreed

Black was immediately called out by a fellow GOP candidate for the neighboring District 67 seat. Chris Latvala Tweeted to Black, "I know you are crazy but good heavens. U R an embarrassment." Latvala said he makes it his business when "so-called GOP candidates become an embarrassment to my beloved party."
@ChrisLatvala Execution is the appropriate punishment for traitors. #BenedictArnold #ReadAmericanHistory #criminalpoliticians

Black lives in Pinellas Park, and according to the Tampa Bay Times, said he doesn't fear the U.S. Secret Service coming to his door. He also tweeted a defense that said, "I think the appropriate punishment is death. They killed Benedict Arnold. (Obama) shouldn't be allowed to kill Americans without a trial."
(Note: Benedict Arnold was not executed for treason, a fact Black acknowledged Tuesday.)
According to the Tampa Bay Times, Black moved to Florida after "practicing street evangelism in St. Louis and works as a taxi driver." Black later defended his position in a lengthy posting on his Facebook account.
