ORLANDO (CBSMiami/AP) - George Zimmerman was attacked in a Sanford restaurant after talking about why he shot Trayvon Martin in 2012.

Zimmerman stopped by the Gators Riverside Grill on Sunday to place a take out order. He was reportedly explaining to several other people in the restaurant that he shot Martin in self defense when he was approached by a man, "Eddie," who asked if he was bragging about it.

When Zimmerman replied 'no', Eddie punched him in the face. Zimmerman then called 911.

911 Operator: "What's going on there?"

Zimmerman: "This man just punched me in the face."

911 Operator: "Okay. Is he still there?"

Zimmerman: "Yep. He said he's going to kill me."

911 Operator: "Does he have any weapons?"

Zimmerman: "You need to send like 3 or 4 cops."

Eddie and several people who had been with him left the restaurant before police arrived. No arrests have been made.
