FWC Helps Reunite Stranded Baby Dolphin With Its Pod

MIAMI (CBSMiami) - A baby dolphin is back with its pod after getting an assist from Florida Fish and Wildlife officers.

The officers found the beached dolphin on the shore of Stirrup Key in Marathon.

Good Samaritans tried to move the dolphin back in the water several times, but it kept re-beaching itself.

The officers, along with marine researches, then moved the dolphin into deeper waters and followed via boat until it was reunited with its pod.
