FT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) - A Ft. Lauderdale man accused of prostituting an 18-year old woman has pleaded guilty to four sex trafficking charges.

Prosecutors say Abdullah Hamidullah, 42, got the woman to come to Florida under false pretenses. Once here he forced her to have sex with multiple men a day over a period of several months and kept all the money, according to the Dept. of Justice.

Hamidullah kept her in his apartment, took away her money, her phone and even installed an alarm but didn't give her the code. He also assaulted her and branded her with a tattoo.

"Hamidullah preyed on a vulnerable young woman and cruelly exploited her for his profit," said Principal Deputy Assistant Attorney General Vanita Gupta, head of the Justice Department's Civil Rights Division, in a statement.

Hamidullah faces a maximum sentence of life in prison. Sentencing has been scheduled for September 15th.
