FORT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) --  Dozens of travelers were evacuated from a Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) terminal Thursday morning.

Airport officials said they were evacuating  Terminal 1 around 11 a.m. after a fire alarm was activated.

Authorities later determined it was a false alarm. They do not believe anyone pulled the alarm, saying it appeared to be a fault in their system.

Just after 11:30 a.m. passengers were allowed to return to Terminal 1.

No other parts of the airport were impacted.
