FSU Advances To ACC Title Game By Beating Louisville 6-0

DURHAM, N.C. (AP) — Ben DeLuzio homered and drove in two runs as Florida State advanced to the Atlantic Coast Conference tournament championship game by beating Louisville 6-0 on Saturday.

Chris Marconcini also had two RBIs for the fourth-seeded Seminoles (40-19). They went 3-0 during pool play and will face sixth-seeded North Carolina State on Sunday in the title game.

DeLuzio led off the eighth with a solo homer and finished with three hits. Marconcini broke the game open with a two-run single in the seventh.

Winning pitcher Drew Carlton (4-5) struck out four and allowed five hits in seven innings. Brendan McKay (8-3) gave up two earned runs in five innings.

Corey Ray and Colby Fitch each had two hits for the top-seeded Cardinals (43-16). They finished their first ACC tournament with a 1-2 record in pool play.
