STOCK ISLAND (CBSMiami) – Four men were arrested Sunday after burglarizing a Stock Island home in the early morning hours.

A neighbor of the home on 12th Avenue heard the sound of glass breaking and observed a broken window and flashlights being used inside the house.

He then saw a black Toyota Camry pull up and three men wearing all black ran from the home and got into the car.

The neighbor was able to get the last two digits of the car's license plate and called the information in to authorities.

A deputy in the area spotted the car which matched the description and had the same last two digits on its tag.

The car was pulled over and inside were four men with ages ranging from 23 years old to 15 years old.

The driver gave permission for the car to be searched by deputies and they found an Xbox, a BB gun and Nike sandals, all of which had been stolen from the home on 12th avenue.

Other items found inside the car were new RayBan sunglasses, an iPad, headphones and marijuana.

Additionally, flashlights and latex gloves were also found which were believed to have been used in the burglary.

All four men were arrested and charged with criminal mischief, burglary, possession of burglary tools and grand theft.

The 17-year-old told deputies that the marijuana in the car belonged to him so he was additionally charged with possession of marijuana.
