DANIA BEACH (CBSMiami) -- The all clear was given at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport after a bomb scare overnight.

Bomb squad responded at around 1 a.m. Friday to reports of an unattended bag that was flagged by a K9 unit.

Terminal 1 was evacuated for about three hours before authorities gave the all clear.

Nothing hazardous was found inside the bag.

During the evacuation some passengers said they were nervous and had no idea what was going on.

"Very scary, " said passenger Gaye Hurst. "Eventhough we were out of the building  and away apparently from what was dangerous there. The traffic was still going by and I kept thinking I hope somebody doesn't shoot us. I mean that's the world we live in now."
