DAVIE (CBSMiami) – As the Miami Dolphins conclude their third and final week of organized team activities (OTAs) they're adding a receiver that's very familiar to the South Florida sports fan base.

The Dolphins announced on Monday that they have signed wide receiver Tommy Streeter.

Streeter, 25, played collegiately for the University of Miami before being selected by the Baltimore Ravens in the sixth-round of the 2012 NFL Draft.

During his time with the Hurricanes Streeter appeared in 30 games, making 52 career receptions for 967 yards and nine touchdowns.

He earned second-team All-ACC honors in 2011 after leading Miami with 46 receptions and 811 yards.

In the NFL, Streeter has also spent time with the Buffalo Bills, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Jacksonville Jaguars.

He also spent part of last season on the Dolphins practice squad.

Streeter has appeared in two NFL games, with Jacksonville in 2014, but has yet to make a reception.
