Focus On South Florida: Nora Sandigo, 'The Great Mother'

Few topics are more top of mind on the national stage than immigration, and in particular, the Trump administration policy of family separations.

A new film focuses on Nora Sandigo, the legal guardian of more than 1,000 U.S. born children of undocumented immigrants.

Without her, those children would be sent to foster care.

The film is called "The Great Mother," and was shot over two years.
