As South Florida prepares to celebrate the life and achievements of Martin Luther King Junior, we focus on how hundreds here are marking the federal holiday as a "day on" rather than a "day off".

"City Year Miami" is coordinating a massive effort, sponsored by the Miami Dolphins, where volunteers will roll up their sleeves to beautify a school in Miami Gardens.
