Focus On South Florida: Hispanic Unity of Florida

Hispanics now make up almost one in four Floridians, up from one in six a decade ago. The numbers are even higher in South Florida, with Broward County having the fastest growing Hispanic population in the state.

Hispanic Unity of Florida was founded in 1982 to ease the transition for newcomers from other countries and now serves 17-thousand clients annually. We focus on exactly what HUF does, and zero in on its Guide 2 Goals program, a student-run college and career readiness project.
