The "EASE Foundation" was founded in 1988 and is here today because of the business community and residents of Davie.

"EASE" stands for emergency assistance service effort.

The nonprofit's purpose is to temporarily help people in Broward County when emergencies happen in their lives.

The foundation calls the work it does "a hand up", not "a hand out".

We focus on the amazing work the foundation does and talk with its 2015 Humanitarian of the Year Honoree, our very own Jim Berry.
