When a child needs hospital care, having access to the comforts of home can go a long way in easing the family's stress.

For families of patients at Joe Dimaggio Children's Hospital, the "Conine Clubhouse" is that home away from home.

It was named for Jeff Conine, also known to baseball fans as Mr. Marlin!

He and his wife stayed there when one of their children was in the hospital.

Since then Conine's huge fundraising commitment has allowed the facility to offer free lodging to families who need it.
