Focus On South Florida: Confronting Animal Cruelty

The South Florida Wildlife Center, in partnership with the Humane Society of the United States, has been on a mission for 46 years. It protects wildlife through rescue, rehabilitation and education. The center, in Fort Lauderdale, admits more than 12-thousand animals annually, giving about 255 different species their best shot at being returned to nature to live wild and free.
