The Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention and Visitor's Bureau has a new leader.

Former Broward County Commissioner and Florida legislator Stacy Ritter took over in June as the bureau's president. Her predecessor, Nikki Grossman served in that role for 21 years.

The change at the top comes at a time when Broward County is enjoying record tourism growth.
